David L. Miller represents various private and public employers in all aspects of labor relations and employment law. As a trusted counselor, Mr. Miller assists clients to develop creative, cost-effective solutions to workplace issues involving employees or unions. When litigation is necessary, Mr. Miller defends employers before administrative agencies and courts. He has obtained jury verdicts in favor of his clients in cases involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. Recent issues addressed by Mr. Miller include drafting and enforcing non-compete agreements, shareholder disputes, discrimination claims, negotiating union contracts, overtime pay class actions, pension fund claims for contributions, withdrawal liability and OSHA investigations.

Mr. Miller has also been named an Illinois Super Lawyer in Labor & Employment Law by Law & Politics and Chicago Magazine (2008 – 2015, 2017 – 2022).
