Matthew Cook
Matt is a seasoned litigator having litigated a wide range of civil matters including cases involving commercial litigation, real estate, torts, personal injury, general liability, professional liability, family law, securities fraud, market manipulation actions, Ponzi schemes, property loss, insurance coverage, insurance fraud, construction, and general business litigation.
Matt also has experience providing insurance coverage counseling to insurance companies in third party claims under commercial general liability insurance policies related to bodily injury, biometric privacy, advertising injury and product liability as well as first party claims involving property loss and fraud.
Matt places his clients’ needs first and is a fierce, effective, and efficient advocate. Matt handles all aspects of litigation at the state and federal level, including trials, appeals, and various forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Matt was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2009 and the Wisconsin State Bar in 2015. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and he is a member of the Trial Bar for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Matt has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine and as an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers Magazine.
Matt is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Wisconsin State Bar Association.
